Very dark chocolate in color with a beautifull soft creamh white lace....the smell is fantastic...I think it's the yeast strain but I love the smell of this...unique smell that is tough to put words to....the taste is non descript...almost a bit of sourness to it so maybe the bottle is going bad...This has to be a bad bottle...the sourness is really shining through...not much to speak of in regards to specific flavors because the sourness is killing it all...I'm a trooper though and will finish it...hey maybe that great yeast strain I like is actually spoiled beer!!!

The beer pours a nice brown color with a slight beige head that laces nicely. You can really smell the thickness to this one. Almost smells like chocolate syrup. Also a pretty strong coffee aroma. This beer is really heavy on the coffee taste. It almost literally tastes like coffee at times. There are some roasted malt tones also with a little bit of hop bitterness too. This is an o.k beer, but I am surprised that this isn't a stout.
