Pours out of the bottle a midnight black, no light passes through it. Minimal head but can see the bubbles creeping up the side of the glass. Smells like cocoa and vanilla extract, not much cinnamon. The taste is where the cinnamon is brought to the light. It's a very prominent flavoring. Good carbonation and rich mouthfeel.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery/restaurant as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark amber with ecru head that left a nice lace. The scent had subtle sweet malt and cinnamon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with light chocolate malt base with cinnamon marshmallow presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
