Dusty dull gold with a sluggish rise of CO2 feeding a patchy stark white head.
Lemon pith and sweetbread nose, backed with a nuance of dried herbs.
Begins with a well-stated, yet modest maltiness. Honeyed graham crackers, carameled nuts, and bread dough. Dries significantly from here on out. Lemon rind hoppiness adds bright acidity, and zinging bitterness. Wet, citrus hues are all over this, but as British seeming as it is American. Ends with a bracing of dead leaves, and a continued lemon tazer.
Medium light bodied with a steadfast, scattered carbonation. This is as definitively "session" as any. Though calling this an amber is a bit of a stretch of the old color wheel. But it's everything a person would want out of a Pale.
