I had this beer on-tap in a straight sided glass at the brewery in Spring. The server told me this was brewed using kveik yeast.
Appearance: medium golden-orange hue with plenty of haze and a layer of frothy white foam leaving a good lace on the glass.
Smell: citrusy/herbal hops with just enough sweetness to yield a nicely juicy character. I like it.
Taste: a bit of citrus and a bit of bitter zest, along with a somewhat sweet malt. The kveik funk/sharpness doesn’t 100% work for me here, but overall it’s not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body but a good carbonation yielding a good creaminess.
Overall: this seems like a well made beer, and I’m enjoying it enough, but like I said I’m not totally convinced kveik works in this application.
