I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a straight-sided glass.
Appearance: light yellow with a good haze and a thick cap of creamy white foam. Looking good!
Smell: big candy banana aroma with the sweetness to back it up. Love it!
Taste: sweetish, crackery wheat malt with a more restrained banana flavor along with a dash of clove. I quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium light body but with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: there might be a hint more banana candy to this than is traditional in a German hefeweizen, but nevertheless it is a tasty treat I’d be happy to have again.
