Drank 3/16/24 - 2023 vintage.
Pour is jet black with a cinnamon colored cap of foam - quick, but decent given ABV. Fades to a ring around the glass.
Nose is a big wave of bourbon, roasted malts, sweet chocolate, fudge, honey, vanilla
Taste follows. A big wave of bourbon mixed nicely with coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate, fudge, honey, vanilla, warming alcohol. Hints of dark fruit as the beer warms.
Smooth, creamy body. Low carbonation. Not overly sweet. finishes with bourbon, fudge, honey
