Braybrooke Beer Co. is a brewery in the British countryside making lagers to exacting German principles. In order to ensur we brew the highest quality lagers possible we have collaborated with our partner, Stephan Michel, from Bamberg’s world famous Mars brewery, founded in 1670.
Our Kellerbier is a style of lager that is unpasteurised, unfiltered and properly cold matured for five weeks before bottling. We import barley, hops and yeast directly from Franconia, to give the beer its rich colour and aroma. We also use reverse osmosis water to brew on our state of the art equipment, which creates the distinctive soft mouthfeel. The end result is a proper lager, delicious and refreshing on its own but also with plenty of body and complexity. We hope you enjoy!

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Decidedly copper in colour, pours almost completely clear with a 2mm white head.
S- Mild, just some grains for me.
T- Quite malty and then into a notable hoppy-dry lick in the finish. The sense/taste of CO2 is also quite prominent, a bit high for my taste and surprising as Kellerbier is fermented 'unbunged' ie essentially an open top or system with no top pressure.
F- What it does get right is the combo of meaty malts whilst also having a hoppy-zing, both in balance for the style.
O- 1st beer of the day and wouldn't have minded a bit more detail/interest in the taste, otherwise why pay a premium for a beer such as this? Drinkable enough but I can get more from a good bottle of (for example) Youngs or Fullers beer for materially less. The bottle and lable are about as understated as you could get.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! --> Unfiltered/unpasteurised.
330ml bottle BB: 30/09/2021-'#363'. £2.90 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

330ml bottle.
L: Deep, golden amber colour with clouds of bubbles and a long-lasting, thick, creamy head. Looks fantastic.
S: Sweet biscuit. Light and clean.
T: Malty and semi-sweet with just a hint of lemon zest. Bitterness builds and builds.
F: Medium carbonation and an extra soft mouthfeel.
O: A complex, gently malty lager. Highly enjoyable.
