L- Mid gold but quite hazy with it. Pours with a 3mm white head.
S- I seem to get a very mild citrus note, but then it seems to disappear.
T- Interesting, moreso than the smell suggested. Decently robust grainy middle and into a notably hoppy (for a pils) finish.
F- The dry hoppy finish is certainly refreshing.
O- The hops are quite prominent yet they are still done within the overall balance of the beer - it's not a hipster-hop-hammer. It's a refreshing beer, ideal for a summer's picnic... Would I drink it again, yes I would, it's like a pils with a hint of citrus and a somewhat amped up hoppy finish.
330ml bottle. £3.25. Unusual to have no bar-code on it, but presumably because the beer has been labelled for sale in a pretty fancy restaurant (Clarke's restaurant, W8) and it leaves more room for the lable to describe the beer. Since the restaurant is currently closed, this beer was bought from the new Clarke's deli opposite the resto.
Made with NZ Motueka hops and German pilsener malt. Brewed and bottled on the Braybrooke Farm in Leicestershire.
