L: Clear orange Amber color with a creamy fizzy white head and a little lacing.
S: Floral hops and notes of caramel, a little black tea. Very little aroma.
T:. Earthy toasty malt with notes of caramel. Taste is better than aroma.
F: Creamy smooth and low carbonation.
O: Needs better aroma but love the mouthfeel.

pours brick red to medium brown into an english pint glass with a small off white head with minimal retention. smell is english and american red malts, caramel notes, no hop essences in the nose, but they show up in the taste. they arent as bitter as some of these style beers, but they definitely finish the beer off with a nice hop kick. malts balance it off, a good session beer for its complex balance. feel is its best asset, nice medium body and good carbonation. its compatible with all kinds of food, and its right in the middle of the spectrum of color and hop intensity. i enjoyed this one.

Serving notes: on cask, shaker glass, little cool of room temp
A - Nice full carmel malt with just a hint of cinnamon spice.
A - two to three fingers of billowy off-white head, semi-clear, amber.
M - low carbonation from the cask serving, very smooth, medium body.
T - Full rich malt and caramel malt profile with hints of the spices from the aroma.
D - This is a great session beer and I often go to it, especially when it's on cask.

Light brown, caramel color. No head when poured.
Smelled of caramel and light chocolate, some raw biscuit and sweet malt.
Taste has an odd mix of malt and yeast, but more of a competition than a blend. Not really bitter, more clean than I think it should be.
A semi-thin finish, didn't really coat like the bitters I had in London (being picky maybe).

My review:
The color is a light amber; slightly cloudy; has a thin head but leaves a nice lace on the glass.
The aroma reminds me of freshly cut grass; however, this is more malty than hoppy in smell.
This is a very crisp ale (more like a lager). This beer has a buttery quality to the malt. The hop acts as a chaser. The aftertaste dies too quickly, although I enjoy the hoppiness of it.
This is a very nice bitter that is worthy of more than one.
