Presented in a tall 'mug club' pint. Dark rust with a frothy off-white 1.5 finger head. Smells typical O'fest. Toasted grains, munich, dirty hops, with a hint of funk. Tastes similar, and a decent version of an O'fest. A bit dry but enjoyable. Hops are definitely tettnanger dirty and work well with the dry munich character. The grains taste a bit soured, which is a flavor I found in many of the actual German O'fests I've tried this year (a new discovery for me). I wonderif that might be some tannins from the particular grains used. Md mouthfeel and a bit more carbonated than I would have like. Nice job, Rod.
