Presentation: Tried it on tap at the brewery, and decided to bring home a growler for further evaluation.
Appearance: Pours a dark reddish brown color with a medium sized head, just a bit of lacing.
Smell: Mainly malt - with a bit of caramel aroma mixed in.
Taste: Definitely malt dominated - with a sweetness and caramel flavor dominating. Just a hint of hops in the finish.
Overall impression: A nice winter beer - very drinkable and balanced.
