Starting to wonder if the western-most boarder of all countries have beers that are bitter and dry, this west coast Japanese ale is having me rethink a lot of things.
Mosaic Mainline rolls out of the West Coast Brewing brewhouse with a lightly foggy golden austere, capped with a tall and fluffy white cap. As the appetizing and curious scent of Mosaic hops captivate the nose with a fruity and botanical scent, a host of tropical, citrus, berry and herbal character. As a light sweetness of bread, honeysuckle and wafer lay a thing foundation of sweetness on the tongue, a rush to hop flavors reveal more orange and lime, passionfruit and kiwi, gooseberry and currant before drying to a sharp bitterness of cedar, black tea and cannabis.
Medium bodied and trending lighter and drier, this fully Mosaic iPA is a rarity to find in West Coast styled beer, but the brewery of the style namesake pulls it off quite convincingly.

Very clear, golden in color. Frothy, sticky white head. Nose is all about the hops! This beer is DANK!
Taste is not for the weak, it is a danke, piney resinous flavor and then the bitterness builds across the back of the palate to the front!
Well done!
