Our first anniversary beer, Aion, represents unbounded time and eternity. Each year we’ll be partnering with a different artist for the artwork and this year we reached out to Mother Grime, who put her signature drip spin on our logo.
Over the course of our first year, an oak foeder in our cellar earned the name Aion. Aion is a predecessor for multiple releases and blends - past, present, and future - and has evolved into an entity of its own.
This unadulterated foeder ale is a culmination of our house cultures developing over the year - providing a unique harmony of acidity, aged complexity, and funk.

House of Funk Brewing 'Aion' golden sour barrel aged in oak foeder @ 7.0% , served from a 2020 vintage corked/caged 750 ml bottle , @ 6..0% 2022 vintage now a 473 ml can
A-pour is pale gold from bottle/can to a hazy pale gold in the glass with a small white head leaving a fine spotty lace ring along the tulip
S-potent oaked aged saison/sour
T-smooth saison , bit strong with a nice body & warming for a funky sour
MF-decent carbonation , feeling the ABV
Ov-sip & enjoy , good for any occasion , including first & third anniversary sour beer
