Pours a dark reddish purple with low, pink foam.
Smell is tart with some sweetness and notes of currants, raspberrries and licorice with a smidge of vanilla.
Taste is sweet and tart and creamy with a distinct punch of licorice starting proceedings. Notes of black currant, creamy vanilla and some youghurt follow. Excellent balance between licorice and tartness.
Mouthfeel is medium, creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, another great Berliner by Elmeleven, a real licoricy treat.
