Literally surrounded by barrels, it's an inspiring hallowed space. Every beer was good, the mixed ferms very special. A real find and must stop. Real beer people and fans.

Barrique was easily the #1 brewery I wanted to hit in Nashville. Location isn’t ideal, but the interior space has a great feel.

Met the owner Joel, and we chatted all things beer with me for a bit and had a couple great suggestions from the extensive menus of available drafts, bottles, and cans.

Chill vibe, with the walls of oak barrels extending nearly the length of the entire taproom. Blue lights shined from behind the barrels in the taproom, giving a pleasant coolness and feel to the place. A relaxing spot for sure.

The beer was fantastic; Barrique’s lager portfolio is varied and formidable, and their Tennessee-influenced wild ales are rightfully regarded as the best in the state of Tennessee. Would love to come back next time I’m in the area.

We stopped here just to purchase beers to go so that I could find out what all the fuss was about with their beers. However, once inside I discovered that they had three pilsners on tap, so a comparison tasting was in order, so we stayed for a little while. The brewery is located in an old industrial area, and the building in which the brewery is located is also of that style and time. Once inside the pub is a short bar with seating, but the view is dominated by the racks and racks of barrels. This vibe is fitting for this brewery (and blendery). The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beers and the brewing process.

We sat at the bar to drink a sampler glass of the three pilsners, which was very educational to experience the differenced side by side. We also ordered a sampler glass of the Czech-style Dark Lager. All four of the beers were very good but I chose to purchase a 4-pack of the Czech Pils to go. They also had a smoked medium-dark lager in cans, so I bought a 4-pack of it also to go.

We still had a long drive ahead of us, so we didn't get to try any of the wild ales. However, we did choose to buy a couple bottles on the recommendation of the bartender. Drinking them at a later date showed me that their wild ale and blending program is every bit as good as the non-barreled beers. If you like lagers and wild ales, this place has to be a primary goal to visit when in Nashville.

Possibly the best lager factory in the country try right now....a warehouse setting where you can go in and purchase a variety of on tap and to go beverages. . They always have a huge selection on tap so there's something for everyone... they don't serve food but I'm fairly certain you can bring it in...quality quality beers....a great place if you like variety...their sour program is very impressive as well...

Really nice sour and lager brewery in a warehouse. There was a taco truck out front when we visited. Large bottle selection for on site and to-go sours. My only complaint was that the lighting is such that it was difficult for me to read anything in the cellared section.

This place is incredible. Truly special! They focus mainly on sours and true-to-style European lagers. Their sours are some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the U.S., and their lagers are world-class, rivaling the best from Europe. The vibe is awesome, as their are barrels lining the tasting room.

Sits in an old industrial building on the east side of downtown off the interstate. It does not look like much from the outside. The inside is very nicely done with barrels everywhere. They have over 600 barrels on the premises. This place is top notch. All their beers are fermented in barrels the old world way. Their sours are fermented with local fruit, sitting in barrels for year or more. Some of the sours are done with open fermentation. Their German biers are outstanding as well. All their beers on tap were German with the exception of a Pale Ale and an Oatmeal Stout which was on cask. All of their sours come in 500ml bottles and can be drank on the premises. If you like sours or German biers, this place is not to be missed when in Nashville.
