Copenhagen 16/1 2021. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard webshop. Gaudy can design trying to catch the campy atmosphere of the eighties with giant portable phones and very unnerving color combinations.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as Thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light fruity, sweet odor mingling with stronger dry, citric odor. Peach and pineapple. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Fresh IPA from the bitter part of town.
