Refreshingly bitter. Until you’ve had your first sip it’s hard to imagine these two words being neighbours. With clean hops on the nose and a bright crystal glow, this handcrafted pilsner is highly effervescent, giving it a beautiful head with tight bubbles.
Paying homage to Auckland’s fastest growing beer style, Kingsland Pilsner was created to complement the bubbling excitement of this up and coming neighbourhood. Perfect for the Sunday session, evenings on a city beach or with your night market lamb burger.

Copenhagen 14/12 2020. 33 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard web-shop. Drawing of urban landscape with a neon yellow background. Very modern.
Pours slightly unclear, pale yellow with a huge, fluffy, white head. Settles thin but frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet malty odor mingling with citric scent. Pale sweet malts, bread. Citrus, grass and hints of tart berries.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, fizzy texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is thin and a bit citric. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly crisp and clean pilsner with light citric touch. But a bit thin I flavor.
