From a 500 ml bottle 2020 batch. Sampled on Nov. 11, 2020.
Jet black pour. Looks great and like an RIS should look. So, a 5 for that.
The aroma emits chocolate and char-roasted malts and also a sort of licorice character. That's behind it. No booze.
Smooth medium or better body.
Definitely sweet and roasty to start and the licorice character I talked about jumps out more in the taste and kind of takes over. Again, little to no booze.

Last bier of the night (17OCT20) on a day of enjoying a bunch of strong, dark biers.... 16.9oz bottle from the brewery, at $12.00....
My small snifter now holds a rich, deep, dark brown concoction...A hard pour produces a lovely 1/2" mocha head, which slowly ebbs to a fine layer with solid lacing. Nose has solid choco, with some coffee thrown in.... nice malts! Body is a good medium, with a nice feel, all-in-all.
Taste? More choco, with a touch of toffee and semi-sweet mocha. Has some earthy, floral hopping as we move to the finish, which lingers nicely on the palate. Well made!! Cheers!!

Bottle from the Packie
Dark brown/black in color with a thin tan head that dissipates. Roasty toasty earthy licorice and light smoke with hints of dark dried fruits. Tasty beer but imho could have used a hint more sweetness for balance.
