Had a 16oz pour at Daydreaming yesterday.... $6.50....
Poured into a German willi becher glass, it was a clear, very dark chestnut color. Hard to tell what the carbo sitch looked like, but the head was short, rocky and frothy, and light beige in color. Lacing left behind was solid. Nose had some nice caramel malts doing their thing. Was a decent medium in body, with a fairly smooth feel, overall.
Taste had solid, semi-sweet malts, with plenty of caramel, plus a smidge of toffee. Did have a touch of what I call "green-ness", sort of a subtle, unexpected fruity character. Still, it was easy to drink and fairly tasty. Cheers!!
