Who opens a brewery in a pandemic? Well, we did, and thanks to incredible support in our community, we survived the year! We took a blend of our English Barleywine, Belgian strong dark and RIS and aged them in a Doire malt whiskey barrel. The result is a rich, robust palate ride of chocolate, fruit and roastiness. We raise a glass to you fine people for keeping us going in 2021!

Enjoying a 0.5l bottle out in The 'Zebo on a muggy first day of July....
Pours a deep, dark, dense, opaque brown.... or, more like a black hole. Has some fine beige foam clinging to the rim, with light lacing. Nose has choco and dark fruit, along with some smoky action. Feel is smooth and creamy, a medium-plus body almost getting into chewy territory.
Taste has roasty notes, dark choco and dark fruit. There are raisins, prunes and dates mixing it up with some smoky peat. Whiskey lurks in the background while some earthy, floral hopping sneaks into the finish. Damn tasty stuff!!! Cheers to Daydreaming's first Anniversary, and to the upcoming nuptials of Alana and Andy! Zum Wohl!!!
