From an undated 500 ml. bottle acquired and sampled on May 7, 2023.
Attractive looking dark brown appearance under a modest and fading mocha head.
An array of aromas include dark roasted malts, caramel, raisins, black cherry, brown bread, alcohol, Bourbon, and wood.
High medium to near full mouthfeel.
The taste is dark sweet roasted malts, black cherry, booze, and a subtle tart finish. This is a Sour Imperial Stout and aspects of both styles merge in a subtle sort of way. That's what made this interesting to me.
