Single 16oz can purchased recently at The Lazy Dog for $5.99.... Enjoying out in The 'Zebo on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon....
Poured most into one of my many Sniftahs.... It's a medium gold/amber color. Has a bit of haze within, with steady, plentiful carbo. A hard pour produces a 1/2" dollop of off-white suds. It's creamy and fine, ebbing back to a solid covering layer, with nice lacing. Flavor has a hint of caramel and toast, with fruity notes of apricot and tangerine. Body is easily medium-plus, and it is creamy and smooth on the tongue!
Flavor nicely follows the nose... a bit of toasty malt and a hint of caramel. Then comes a healthy heap of tangerine, apricot and orange. Solidly semisweet with minimal bitterness. Has a great mix of sweet-leaning fruit with a decent touch of malts. Like a thick slab of whole-grain toast smothered with jam!! This is really how I like my DIPAs! Superb!! Prosit!!
