From the 500 ml. bottle with no date but acquired at the brewery on 12/13/2025.
Served around 45 degrees. The pour is dark brown with a quick ending thin tan head. It fades fast.
The aroma is an array of melted caramel, black cherry, vanilla, anise, and booze,
The mouthfeel is in the medium range.
The taste has an early sweetness but then the booze and bitterness kicks in. The finish is boozy and lingering, Warming. This is usually what I'm looking for in a barleywine and it's a fine take on it.
