440ml can, packaged on 02/04/2020 (I believe, the date stamp was a little blurry), poured into a tulip.
Look: It says brown ale on the can, but this is dark. A light black, like a lighter stout, lets a little light through when held up to it. About 2cm of tan head quickly subsides to a thin film.
Smell: coconut, malibu, a fair bit of maple syrup, maybe a bit of chocolate. It's interesting. I'm not entirely sure where I stand on it.
Taste: Maple, coconut, some spice and a little herbal hop towards the end.
Feel: smooth, tingly carbonation at the front of the palate, a little astringency at the end. Not a heap of bitterness though.
Overall: Yeah. I don't know. I reckon they nailed what they were going for, but it's not really my cup of tea.
