Double Dry Hopped Oat Cream IPA from the label.
440ml can. Packaged on the 23/03/2021, poured into a tulip
Look: Hazy yellowy gold, like a sparkling pineapple juice. About 3cm off bubbly white head, which slowly falls away. Leaves some nice lacing down the side of the glass.
Smell: The glass is sitting about half a meter away from me, and it is assaulting me with tropical fruit smell, as it did as soon as I opened the can. I'm getting some pineapple, passion fruit, mango and citrus a little dank grass as well.
Taste: Fruit, a little more citrus at the beginning, the mango is present too. The other flavours come through a little more when you get used to the citrus, passionfruit, pineapple, some other tropical flavours I can't quite put my finger on, there is a little more of that dank grass and pine on the back end than on the nose.
Feel: Fuller bodied, a creaminess which I imagine comes from the oats. A tiny little carbonation pricks through. The bitterness was a little more than I was expecting, but rounds it out nicely. Does leave the mouth a little....slimy, but not in a bad way.
Overall: Fantastic flavours. Excellent beer.
