What can I say except...This is a tropical NEIPA bursting with notes of passionfruit, melon and citrus. Using Phantasm powder, made from Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc grape skins.it unlocks strong tropical flavours, using thiol precursors to allow the Citra, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops to shine.

Purchased from Chas Cole Cellarbrations in Geelong in February 2024 and drunk a few days later.
L: Thick, apricot-juice orange/yellow, with a thin, bright white head. Lots of very small bubbles can be seen in the stem of the IPA glass, but otherwise, light can't penetrate the murk.
S: Tropical fruit basket with grape, honeydew, stonefruit, and some dank, spicy notes.
T: Taste is slightly spicy but sweet, juicy, and tropical. The main notes mirror the nose, with a touch of strawberry at the end. The bitterness is mild but spicy, with that dank note at the end.
M: Pillow smooth. There's the slightest hop burn and subsequent warmth in the mouth, throat and stomach, but it's minimal for such an apparently large hop load.
O: Drunk fresh (the can was three weeks old) this is a very tasty and enjoyable NEIPA.
Cheers!
