Ultimately, complacency was their downfall. Despite all their achievements, routine became an anchor that dragged all their achievements to the depths. Though they sank into the cloudy sea, they are remembered. The columns they erected stand as an ever present reminder to build higher, better and improve on what only just works. This hazy pale is an evolution on what worked, while also a trial of the new. Soft fruity and dank hops next to evolutions of the classics. It stands on a silky body of what worked in the past but is built stronger for the future.

Purchased from Chas Cole Cellarbrations in Geelong in February 2024 and drunk a few weeks later.
The beer appears light, lemon-meringue yellow with a thin, bright-white head. An abundance of very small carbonation can be seen in the stem of the IPA glass, adding to its aesthetic appeal.
Upon taking a whiff, the aroma of overripe pineapple, peaches, melon, and lychee fills the senses. It's very tropical, making it perfect for a summer day.
As for the taste, it's very much following the nose with a touch of extra creaminess, making the melon and lychee notes stand out. There's no malt body to speak of, and the bitterness is very mild. It's very drinkable but could become too sweet after a couple of cans.
The beer's mouthfeel is pillow-soft, with minimal carbonation and almost non-existent carbonic prickle.
Overall, this beer is a very nice, easy-drinking beer that doesn't challenge but meets all that a haze boi could ask for in a beer. Its taste and aroma are perfect for those who love tropical flavours, and its pillow-soft mouthfeel adds to its overall enjoyment. It's definitely worth a try if you come across it.
Cheers!
