If we live only to discover beauty, and all else is a form of waiting, have a beer while you do so. Dense branches of Citra leading from robust arms of mosaic all the while laced together with vines of Nectaron. Each hop has its purpose and each purpose has its form.

Purchased at Chas Cole Cellarbrations in Geelong in May 2024 and drunk a few weeks later.
L: Thick, hazy, tropical orange in the glass, with a fluffy, bright-white head. Huge amounts of tiny bubbles race up the sides of the glass. This is a very pretty beer.
S: Massive topical and citrus notes leap out of the glass, headlined by nectarine, orange and lime, with a spicy kick in there too.
T: Wow, what a tropical beast this is! There's nectarine and lime, as noted in the nose, but also melon and honeydew and the general tropical melange that characterises the juicier versions of the style. A nice hoppy kick is tacked on, and the juicy, quenching finish demands I drink more, which I duly do. This beer is delicious!
M: The mouthfeel is full and smooth, with low carbonation and carbonic prickle, enhancing the juicy, quenching finish noted above.
O: I pretty much made my thoughts clear in the taste section: this beer is an excellent example of a modern hazy, juicy IPA. I want more! It's an absolute tragedy that the Australian economy has tanked to the point that banging breweries like Deeds can not survive. The last week of this awesome brewery is here, and the Australian beer scene is the poorer for it. I still have 13 Deeds beers in the fridge, which I'll work through in the next few months, and then they're gone forever. It's such a shame.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
