Fun Fact:
The origin of Sangria begins with the Romans on the Iberian Penisula (probably).
Wine was added to water to kill off bacteria, with the addition of sugar, spices and herbs to enhance the flavour (maybe).
Another Fun Fact:
This beverage is nothing like that...
We've used delicious fruit and white wine to create a moreish, tart and refreshing beer.
Grab an Amphora and enjoy!

Purchased at Ocean Grove Cellars in January 2024 and drunk in July of that year.
L: Hazy vitamin C tablet yellow with a thin smattering of white head. Small amounts of carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: This smells like white sangria! It's funky, citrusy, yeasty, and tart, with a touch of pineapple and the slightest hint of barnyard.
T: It very closely matches the nose. It's tart and funky, with citrus, pineapple, and a bit of barnyard. It finishes very dry. It tastes like it smells!
M: Slightly thin body, mildly carbonated, no bite on the swallow.
O: This one tastes like a funky Belgian farmyard saison but also almost exactly like a white sangria. It's nice, but I wouldn't need more than one.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
