This was a Christmas present in 2025, drunk in February 2026.
L: Hazy, dark golden, with a thin, bright white head and one or two bubbles working their way up the glass.
S: The nose is lime citrus, yeasty stone fruit and cider. Quite weird-smelling and not terribly appealing.
T: The taste is all nectarine and white peach, tasting nothing like the weird mishmash of aroma on the nose. Bitterness is very mild but sits well with the stone fruit.
M: The body is full and smooth with very low carbonation, which seems to be coming more of a thing with tropical Australian pale ales, but the low carbonation works well with this one, even though I'd have preferred more kick.
O: This is certainly drinkable, and I could easily have more than one, but I think the general lack of bite from the body and carbonation would soon have me looking for something with a little more heft. That and the weird aroma...
Cheers!

355ml can, packaged on 20/02/2020, poured into a tulip.
Look: Golden amber, about 1-2cm of bubbly white head, quickly subsides, congregating a little around the sides of the glass.
Smell: Fruity on the nose. Mango, nectarine, touch of orange, a little bit of grassiness towards the end.
Taste: Fruity still, but dialed back a bit. Nectarine and citrus come through a bit more, a touch of orange peel. There is something towards the end there that I just can't put my finger on.
Feel: Lighter bodied, zesty carbonation, bitterness is subtle.
Overall: Solid. Enjoyable beer. A real 6 pack beer for me, flavoursome and interesting enough while still being very drinkable.
