First off, we have to say it tastes way better than it sounds! We brewed the first version of this Gose (Swole Sweat) as our first collaboration with our chef brother, Jacob, who is known locally as “Swole Chef” (as is his awesome food-prep business. Check him out!). His food caters to supporting people’s health and fitness goals. A Gose beer is the perfect fit for the fitness-minded. Brewed with salt and coriander, as is the German tradition for the style, and fruited with prickly pear and spicy chipotle peppers, this tart and SPICY beer is unique and refreshing. Just like his food will help you achieve your fitness goals, this one will get you sweating (which could contribute to your weight loss goals)! And NO, we did not use Swole Chef’s sweat in the beer for the needed salt (at least, not intentionally). Replenish your post-workout sweat salt with Swole Sweat(ier)!

Listed by the brewery as a Gose, but this could also be considered a Chile beer. The beer’s only down side is looks - mostly clear and amber (likely tinted by the chipotle) and still-looking. Light carbonation is not missed thanks to the heat the peppers bring.
The nose is a bit heavier on the smoked pepper, with green pepper flesh and a light tartness coming through. Taste is a bit more typical Gose up front, with a tart saltiness to open each taste. The chipotle flavor is lighter, but the feel comes through just past mid-taste and grows into a fairly strong spicy bite.
