Honoring the fallen during the events in VA Beach on May 31, 2019 and the first responders on the scene, this Strong Belgian Ale is appropriately named "VB Strong." Fruity, complex, yet approachable, the spiciness from the Belgian yeast is mellowed by the highly attenuated dry finish from the secondary champaign yeast.

Smells like a classic BSPA. Flavor is a touch on the sweet side for the style, coming across sugary and nearly cloying.
Yeast expression hits with big banana notes and mild clove, all on the back half. Pale dough on the finish.
