Pours a beautiful dark amber colour. The smell/taste is excellent. Malty a bit hoppy just plain old the way it’s supposed to be. Easy drinking and easily the best I’ve had from Amber Brewery

No can date
Pours a foamy almost 1 finger head with fair retention, soapy lacing, mostly clear slight hazy amber color
nose semi sweet amber toasted malt characters, a little sweet caramelization, golden malt, hops start to dominate with a very herbal earthy character
Taste hops up front again, herbal, earthy, leafy and a little forest like without the pine, semi sweet malts again, toasted amber malts, with a little cracker and caramel notes, a touch of bread crust, med to a bit lighter bitterness, a bit of a sulfate note on the finish, semi dry mild sweet sticky finish
Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher frothy carb that gets a bit distracting even
Overall eh, not bad, nothing really wrong, just doesn't really fit the style given the hops that are very UK-like
