Pours a hazy, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy, lasting head. Smells of light biscuity malt and juicy hops, with tropical fruit notes of passion fruit, mango and papaya and lighter berry accents of gooseberry, with just a hint of herbal dankness coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, with an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and vibrant, juicy tropical and lighter berry and citrus hops, with notes of mango, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple white grape, gooseberry and tangerine, as well as a good, herbal dankness coming through in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium bitterness, mild hop burn and some passion fruit, mango and white grape, as well as herbal dankness lingering in the aftertaste. Thick, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This reminds me a lot of Maltgarden's last offering, "Only Few Words", which is not a bad thing at all though. Again this is rather dominated by the Enigma and in this case Strata hops, with a lovely interplay of somewhat acidic berry and sweet and juicy tropical notes, with a much lighter citrus presence and additional dankness, with a great bitterness in the finish. What really stands out here, however, is the amazing mouthfeel, which is full and thick, almost creamy and something that you rarely come across with European NEIPAs. Seriously one of the best European NEIPAs I've had in a while, with a great balance of sweet and juicy, but also dank and bitter hops, an impressive array of expressive fruit notes and a very luxurious mouthfeel. Again, top-notch stuff from Poland despite a rather mild hop burn in the aftertaste that I personally don't really mind.
