Frederiksberg 22/4 2022. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H. C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and roasted odor mingling with a earthy scent. Caramel and toffee. Brown sugar. Light touch of humid, moldy cellar.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, slightly viscous, soft, smooth tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet without being cloying. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Easily drinkable Porter. Sweet but not too sweet - and pretty straightforward.
