Pours a slightly clouded golden color with a big, spongy head.
Smells of utmost leafy, noble hops together with a very well working faint impact of orange zest among bread rind and caramel. This smells like one of the freshest and most hop forward Pilsener I‘ve ever experienced.
Drinks soft, light and refreshing, with a well nuanced, lively carbonation, leading to a crisp, balanced finish.
This tastes of bread dough, dried grains and old garden herbs with a light orange peel addition, making the caramel in this blend in even smoother. Turns a tad drier then, with a lively carbonation coming up and adding a slight metallic quality. Finishes dry, crackery, leafy with a gentle balance given by the bread dough and calmer caramel in this, leading to a crisp, short and dry aftertaste.
This is on point in all ways. Very dry, spot on as far as balance in this goes with just enough malts to add an intriguing depth. This is, as its name already states in german, quite good.
