Beer brewed with Mexican hops and barley. Creole barley is an unpatented variety that arrived in Mexico during the conquest and since then has adapted to our territory.

Aroma is malts and noble-like hops, true to style. The flavor is malts/hint of corn, big fruit/berries, lager yeast and a crisp/lightly hoppy finish.

On tap at Agrotaberna de Monstruo de Agua in Mexico City, Mexico.
This one pours a light and clear golden yellow color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This smells like corn, light graininess, lemon, a little bit of citrus, and breadiness.
This tastes super crisp, clean, and refreshing. It’s lemony, grassy, and bready, with some corn like sweetness, and a pleasantly smooth bite on the finish.
This is light bodied, super drinkable, and just more-ish for sure.
You can generally tell the strength of a brewery by how good their lightest beer – how good this is bodes well for Monstruo de Agua in general.
