A mix of cinnamon, allspice, and caramel malt, arises from the nose. A black pepper pop mid sip amid flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice hits the palate with a sweet caramel malt finish.

Now named "Pfeffernüsse". 16oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Amber brown colored body. Light beige head reduces to an island and a thicker ring.
Aroma of allspice and cinnamon sitting on top of caramel malts.
Taste is sweet and full of spices. Caramel malt sits as a base, with cinnamon and allspice being the extra spices. Rye adds pepper to the experience. Caramel malt sweetness returns in the aftertaste, but the spices cling to the taste buds.
More than medium mouthfeel. Has a creamy but biting texture. Okay carbonation.
Ultimately caramel sweet but winter warmer spicy, with the extra touch of rye.

32oz crowler from Zipps. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace. It smelled of caramel, toffee, nutmeg and other spices. Nice caramel malt backbone with Christmas spices and a mild bitterness.
