Outlaw Barleywine, as its name suggests, breaks some geographical norms with its flavor profile – it has the hoppiness of a western US version while also exhibiting spiciness from the addition of rye malt and an alcohol intensity. 55 IBU
Flavor: A fairly intense hoppiness yields to a warming from the alcohol and spicy prune-like flavors. The flavor profile mellows and rounds as the pour warms. Once it warms you’re rewarded with a marshmallow-like fluffy sweetness and less hoppiness.

Look: Impressive head, it's fine and creamy, long lasting leaving plenty of lacing. Semi transparent dark cooper body.
Smell: oddly it's not a strong aroma. Sweet malt with some pine hops, but smells good.
Taste is plenty of pine hops at first. Then slightly sweet dark fruit (Prune) that has some rye spice coming in later. The finish goes back to bitter pine mixed with rye. The pine hops weaken as it warms.
Nice mouth feel that is somewhat thick and malty. Smoother when it warms.
