Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of lemonflower and smooth honey with some golden malts. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors of bitter flower, some lemon with a smooth hone and pale malt profile. Yeasty off the end. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to lighter bodied, strong carbonation. Yeasty and dry off the end. (3.75)
to Surly Hell Lager 12/24: Pours identical. Milder aromas. More honey. Less lemonflower and yeast. Less flavor and heavier overall. Winner: Surly
Overall:
First try at this collab with Little Thistle Brewing. Nice floral hops. Smooth pale malts. Dry and yeasty off the end. Fairly dry. Enjoyable and leans a little more Italian Pils than a Helles. (Rating: 3.87)

L-Clean looking golden color with excellent clarity
S-Light oily hop aroma...soft maltiness
T-A lightly musty maltiness doesn't create the cleanest first impression and a prominent (too prominent) dry hoppiness is unexpected for this style....some definite bitterness on this more like a German Pils.
F-Light side of medium bodied....very dry on the finish...
O-I expected a more rounded maltiness with more depth than this exhibits from the double decoction....and it is also too hopped up for the style. With that said it's fine....just a little off the mark style wise.
