This was my first beer straight from the Hoptown brewery. It was a farily decent example of a Hefe. The highlight of the beer was definately the taste. It had a well balanced combonation of smokey malts, strong wheat taste, and a citrus finish. The head was pillowy white and the body was a bright golden color that was very cloudy. This was a very drinkable beer. It could have been so drinkable, because I had been throwing at the 140th annual highland games at the Pleasanton fairgrounds, where the heat was there in full force.
