Birrificio War "Franco"
€3,50 / ,25 l alla spina @ Il Birratrovo, Como, IT on 3 December 2019
Look: Hazy deep golden body beneath a full head of white foam. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Mild aroma. Mainly grainy & bready malt and grassy and floral hops.
Taste: Dull grainy malt with mild grassy, herbal, and spicy hops. Balanced moderate bitterness with a dry, short lingering finish.
Feel: Medium bodied with a smooth, fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation.
Overall: Average.

Keller Pils.
Greenish yellow, lightly veiled. Very thin carbonation. Off-white foam, ok.
In the smell malt and honey, a lot of camomile and white flowers.
Same for the taste, malt, light honey, white breadiness, again camomile.
Some bread crust / yeast.
In the aftertaste even some lightly citrus notes.
Not a masterpiece, but honest keller pils.
