Copenhagen 24/4 2021. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Væskebalancen, Valby Langgade, Valby. Vault City's usual design with the lattice gate in a light purple version.
Pours murky burgundy with a big pink head. Bubbly. Settles as very small, free floating patched of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a lactic, sour scent. Some sweet alcohol just underneath. Sweet blackcurrants and strawberry. A bit of sugar giving a candy-like quality. Sweet liqueur-like alcohol peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly and pleasantly tingling texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour with a fruity, sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry yet fruity.
Impressively well-balanced for a beer that seeks to reconcile sweet berries, bubblegum, port wine and sour beer.

A 375ml bottle with a best before date of 18th March 2022. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A hazy reddish purple colour with a big three finger pinkish head that dissipated quickly but settled to a thin cap, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, fruity, blackberry, strawberry, and guava, with blackcurrant notes.
Taste: Tart, lightly sour, mixed red and dark berries, blackcurrant, with a hint of berry flavoured yoghurt.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A fun and enjoyable modern sour beer with lots of nice berry fruitiness.
