Copenhagen 4/6 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pink can with psychedelic renderings of flowers and fruits and Vault Citys black and white logo.
Pours opaque, murky red with a big pink head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity odor of ripe berries mingling with a more subdued tart, sour scent. Raspberry, white sugar and lactose. Citrus and gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairy intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste tat with a sweet fruity undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Refreshing, smooth and entirely pleasant.

330ml bottle from Tesco (£3):
Light pink & hazy, quite thick looking with a 1cm, pinkish-white head that's foamy & holds okay too. The nose is pretty much all raspberry; it's tarty, very slightly funky & bitter with a raspberry yogurt aroma to finish. The taste is similar with the raspberries strongest again, there's some tarty flavours & subtle acidity too. It's medium bodied but quite one dimensional, it's probably not as sour as I'd have liked either.
