Copenhagen 1/7 2021. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Vault City's usual design with the lattice gate in a red, orange and blue version.
Pours murky brown with a big slightly off-white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick, creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer completely. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary cake-like odor mingling with lighter tart notes. Sweet berries and sugary pie. Strawberries and raspberries. Chocolate and biscuit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart undertone. Lingers for a while.
Sweet Pie with sour berries on top.

375ml bottle from Curious Liquids (£8):
A bruised peach to pinkish amber with a foamy, 3cm head that's a pink tinged white, thick & holds well with some lacing on the sides too. Raspberry notes opens the nose with strawberry notes & biscuit, herbal notes with faint yeast & tart to finish. The tart & raspberry are more pronounced with the taste, there's more strawberry too with yeast & zesty flavours coming through with a tiny bit of vanilla sweetness too. It's tangy & sharp with moderate carbonation medium to full body.
