In a Gaelic Sea Far, Far Away…
An alliance was formed between vault city and Emperor’s Brewery to create one of the greatest imperial stout the Galaxy had ever seen. Seven months of barrel aging in the freshest whiskey cask from Islay has infused The iconic smokiness, adding layers of complexity and depth to this intense, whisky-forward stout.
Scottish heather honey, creamy vanilla and lactose round out the flavour with a delicate sweetness in harmony with the light bitterness from East Kent Golding hops.

Copenhagen 8/11 2023. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard. Kbh. V. Black and orange label in Vault City's usual design.
Pours opaque dark brown with almost no head. Disappears quite quickly leaving a thin rim of foam behind.
Aroma is intense with a very sweet yet earthy and dark odor. Sweet toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Vanilla. Licorice, humid soil and peat. Whiff of smoke.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a boozy streak and a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry licorice.
Intense mixture of sweet dark malts with a touch of vanilla and smoked peat.
