Inspired by fizz and bubbles, this is our twist on the iconic Bellini cocktail.

We’ve raised a glass to the classic flavour combination of juicy peach and passion fruit. The addition of refreshing grape juice with our house-mixed culture creates a vegan friendly, modern sour beer that’s bursting with flavour.

So, if you’re looking for a cocktail inspired beer, this one’s a peach.

Pours a cloudy, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of doughy malt and peach and passion fruit aromas. Taste is a good balance of doughy malt and vibrant sweet peach and acidic passion fruit notes, with the passion fruit standing out just a little bit more and a good underlying tartness. Finishes with a medium tartness and some peach and passsion fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While this may be just a little one-dimensional, that's really just par for the course for the style and there really is a pretty nice overall balance to this between the sweet peach, acidic passion fruit and tart lactic acid notes. The fruity notes still stand out rather vibrantly, in the aroma as well, even though I suspect this to be quite old, proving to me that Kettle Sours hold up well. Overall, this makes for a rather nice, refreshing example of the style.

440ml can from Morrisons supermarket (£6.50):
A golden body with a bubbly white head just over 1cm tall with good retention. Peach, citrus tropical notes, orange & passionfruit on the nose with a faint hint of tart at the end. The taste is slightly more tart & funky, plenty of citrus & strong carbonation with a lot of peach, tropical fruits & pineapple in there too. It's not the most complex sour out there but the balance isn't bad at least.
