Copenhagen 14/6 2021. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Vault City's usual design with the lattice gate in a green and red version.
Pours murky, slightly dirty rosa with a big lightly pink head. Stable. Settles as å5 cm blanket of foam completely covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Sweet and fruity scent mingling with a subdued sourness. Oxidized apple, pear and cider. Hints of vanilla. Light whiff of tart berries.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, smooth yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A bit unusual fruit combination but it actually works quite well.
