Copenhagen 24/5 2025. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Red can in Vault City's usual design with a strange patetern involving plants and ice cream cones. The version I am drinking is holding a ABV of 5.0.
Pours opaque murky red with a small pink-is head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering much of anything. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and a bit sugary fruity odor mingling with subtle tart notes. Sweet raspberries, lactose, vanilla and currants. Tart gooseberries peeking in discretely.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet raspberry brew with a strange tang.

440ml can from Vault City Online Shop (£3.50):
Dark orange/amber with a 1cm, frothy white head that has some bubbles through it. Sweet bubblegum & candied sugars with faint citrus/orange with the nose & taste; the mouthfeel is quite acidic & strongly carbonated with some artificial fruit flavours coming through too; okay but the original seemed slightly better.
