A smooth, full-bodied stout fit for the season reaturing chocolate malt, oats and creamy vanilla for a luscious, velvety mouthfeel. Additions of brown sugar creates delicate sweetness while subtle coffee notes meld with cosy, warming spices of cinnamon and ginger.

Poured at just warmer than fridge temp. Pours pitch black with minimal head. The nose is ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate.
The taste is nice. Gingerbread, slight cinnamon, nutmeg, slight roasty bitterness, milk chocolate, loads of malts, and a slight nutty note. Nice stout overall.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour. Aroma and flavour of roast malts, brown sugar, lactose and spices (particularly ginger and cinnamon, possibly also cardamom). EXTREMELY sweet - should be served in small glasses.

A 330ml can with a best before date of 30th August 2029. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Black in colour with a thin tanned head that disappeared almost immediately, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar, with a ginger and cinnamon mix that almost resembled banana.
Taste: Sweet, vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar, coffee, caramel, cinnamon, with light notes of ginger.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, smooth, full bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Sweeter than I wanted it to be, as I was hoping for stronger ginger and cinnamon spiciness, and less sweetness.

Pours a murky sludgy dark brown, no fiww, just a small ring.
Smell is spicy vanilla coffee chocolate.
Taste is the same, but too much spice. Not deep enough. Feels like I'm liking dried ginger and cinnamon tree, with some vanilla latte next to me.
Feel is initially sweet if thin, then had this weird after feel.
Worse than the sum of it's parts. Will not have again.

330ml can from Tesco (£3):
Opaque black with a soapy beige lacing around the circumference. Strong coconut & lactose on the nose, some vanilla, coffee & lighter gingerbread on the nose. It's a sweet taste too with the vanilla & coconut, slightly sickening initially with the coffee not as strong as the nose. It's a medium to full body with soft carbonation & a smooth feel but it's far, far too sweet.
